The first thing that I would
recommend that you do, is go to the Practice
Paper Piecing Page. When you feel comfy with paper
piecing, come on back and try the Wood Lily! You will need to print
out the number of units specified on the template page per block you
want to make on very lightweight paper. Fat Quarters will be fine
for this! |

Having pieced all the units,
join them together into rows, using the squares in the corners. Use
1/4" seams as always, and press the seam allowances
in alternating directions by row. Sew the rows together, and there
is your block! :o) |

The quilt as shown here, is
another simple four blocks by five, surrounded by a border, and then
a pieced square border...
