Start by cutting the Color 1 2-1/2" x 10" strip into four 2-1/2" squares. Next use the templates (A) provided to cut two side triangle units from the Color 1 5" x 14-1/2" strip... |

Now cut the Color 2 2-1/2" x 15" strip into six 2-1/2" squares... |

Then use the templates (you made from B) to cut two outer triangles from the Color 3 3-1/2" x 26-1/2" strip... |

Next cut the Color 4 2-1/2" x 7-1/2" strip into three 2-1/2" squares. Now use the templates (A) provided to cut two side triangle units from the Color 4 5" x 14-1/2" strip. Then use the templates (you made from B) to cut two outer triangles from the Color 4 3-1/2" x 26-1/2" strip... |

Using a 1/4" seam allowance now and for all the block-making, sew together five Color 2 and four Color 1 2-1/2" squares to make a Nine Patch unit. This should measure 6-1/2"...on to Page 2! |
