The first thing that I would
recommend that you do, is go to the Practice
Paper Piecing Page. When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come
on back and try the Toad in The Puddle! You will need to print out
four copies of the paper pieced flying geese unit, and each of the
triangles, but only ONE copy of the square per block you want
to make. Use the triangles and the square to make templates,
and use those templates to cut out the triangles and the
square.( 4 small triangles, and 4 large triangles) |
|
|
When you have your paper piecing done, join
a small Color 2 triangle to the tip of each of the four flying geese
units, right sides together, and using a SCANT 1/4" seam. Press
seams towards outer triangles... |
|
|
Then sew a large Color 2
triangle to each side of two of the previously made units, again
using SCANT 1/4" seams. Press seams towards outer triangles... |
|
|
Next sew the center square
between the remaining two flying geese units, pressing seams towards
inner square...
...on to Page
2!
