Click the image at left for the paper piecing template!

The first thing that I would recommend that you do, is go to the Practice Paper Piecing Page. You will need to print out four copies of each of the template per block you want to make, or print out one from this site, and use a copier to give you several on very lightweight paper. These should print out as 4" squares, with 1/4" seam allowances added. Printers do differ some though. I suggest that you leave the paper on the units until the whole block is pieced, for stability. :o)

After you have the units done, sew them together as shown at left, first into rows, and then sew the rows together to make the block. Now remove the paper!

A Fat Quarter of each fabric should be plenty :o)

The quilt is wonderfully optical !

Happy Quilting All!
