The first thing that I would
recommend that you do, is go to the Practice
Paper Piecing Page. When you feel comfy with paper
piecing, come on back and try The Shoofly Star Block! You will need to print out
one copy of each template page per block you want to make on very
lightweight paper. You also need one 2-1/2" center square! Fat quarters should be plenty! |

Once your units have been paper pieced, lay them out as shown at left.
Sew three horizontal rows, pressing row seams in alternating
directions. Join the rows to complete your block!
