Sew two trap units right sides together from the lower edge to a point 1/4" from the inner edge. Backstitch. Now set in a square by sewing from the left top edge to a point 1/4" from the edge of the square. Backstitch. Now FOLD the unit in half right sides together to line up the remaining un-sewn edge. Sew from the previous stopping point to the outside edge, backstitching one stitch at the beginning of the seam. Make another unit like this. |

Then sew the two units we just made together, between points 1/4" from each edge, backstitching at the beginning and the end of that seam. Set in squares on the left and right in the same manner as we did above.... |

Now sew triangles to the sides of four trap units to make four corner triangles... |

..and sew trap units to opposing sides of the Color 1 squares to make four corner strips... |

Sew the corner triangle units to the corner strip units to make four corner units. Sew these to opposite sides of the center star between 1/4" points from the edges. Backstitch at the beginning and end of these seams. Sew the remaining corner units to the adjacent sides in the same manner...on to Page 3! | ||
