The first thing that I would
recommend that you do, is go to the Practice
Paper Piecing Page. When you feel comfy with paper
piecing, come on back and try the Stars and Diamonds Block! You will need to
print out four copies of each of the two units needed per block you
want to make on very lightweight paper. A Fat Quarter of each
fabric will be fine!
After you have paper pieced all
the units needed, begin assembling them as shown at left. Make four
units like this. Then join the four units to make
the block!
The quilt shown here is four
blocks by five, with a 3" white border, then a 3" border
made from half squares, and the whole thing is then bound in red!
