Next, paper piece your two-colored side rectangles. Lay out all the
units as shown at left, then sew five horizontal rows using the
standard 1/4" seam. Press seams in alternating directions
by row. Sew the rows together, and there's the Spider's Den!

This quilt shows thirteen Spider's Den blocks,
alternated with a Double Wrench Variation, calculated to fit
with this 13" block!
