The first thing that I would
recommend that you do, is go to the Practice
Paper Piecing Page. When you feel comfy with paper
piecing, come on back and try a Shadow Rays block! You will need to print out
four copies of the template page per block you want to make on very
lightweight paper. Fat quarters should be plenty! You also
need one 2-1/2" yellow square for the block's center unit! |

After all units are paper pieced, join the sections to form four of
the corner units and four of the side units...

Here is a wall hanging with nine blocks, four using
alternate colors!
