Then assemble your two star units as shown at left, with a 1/4" seam allowance, using the Color 1 and Color 2 3-1/2" squares as the star's centers. These should measure 6-1/2" at this point, with 1/4" seam allowance beyond the tips of the stars... |

Make four of the triangle units shown at top left, matching the center points of the units as shown here with green dots. Next, assemble two of the "X" units as shown at bottom left, again matching the center points of the units as shown with green dots. These should also each measure 6-1/2"... |

Lay out the four units as shown. Sew two horizontal rows, and then join those rows to complete your block... |
