The first thing that I would recommend that you do, is
go to the Practice Paper Piecing
Page. When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come on back
and try a Railroad Crossing 2 Block! You will need to print out two copies of
the corner template, and one copy of the each of the other units per block you want to make on very lightweight
paper. A Fat Quarter of each fabric should be ample! |

After your units are paper
pieced, sew them together as shown at left, and that's all there is
to this one! |

Here's a 4 block x 5 block quilt with narrow
borders! For a layout like this, you will need to alternate the
color orientation of some blocks!
