| The first thing that I would recommend that you do, is go to the Practice Paper Piecing Page. When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come on back and try a Paddlewheels Block! You will need to print out two copies of the template page A and four copies of the template page B per block you want to make on very lightweight paper. Fat quarters should be plenty! |

After your units are paper pieced, join quarter block units as shown at far left, then piece the block as shown at near left! |

The quilt, shown here on its side, is four blocks by five, with a very narrow dark purple border to accent the quilt, then a wider batik print border! Hope you like it! Happy Quilting! Marcia :o) |
