Place the Color 2 elongated triangle regular piecing
templates on a 4" x 12" rectangle of fabric, and cut out
four star points, being sure to ADD the 1/4" seam allowances.
To cut the elongated side triangles place the regular piecing
templates on an 8" x 14" rectangle of fabric and cut out
eight triangles, again being sure to ADD the 1/4" seam
allowances.... |

To make the elongated triangle units sew the elongated side triangle
to each side of the elongated star point triangle as shown at left,
using scant 1/4" seams and pressing towards the darker fabric.

With me so far? Great! ...now piece the block! Sew three rows as shown
at left, using scant 1/4" seams. Press the top and bottom row
seams towards the center and middle row seams towards the outside.
Join the rows to make the block!
