The first thing that I would
recommend that you do, is go to the Practice
Paper Piecing Page. When you feel comfy with paper
piecing, come on back and try a Mighty Star! You will need to print out one
copy of each template page per block you want to make on very
lightweight paper. You will also need four 3-1/2" squares
of background fabric. Fat Quarters will be fine! |

After your units are paper pieced, lay them out with
the background squares as shown at left. Sew three horizontal rows,
then join those rows to complete the block! |

Here are four blocks by three with a
mock Delectable Mountains border
and Log Cabin corners! The Little Star block that packs a Wallop as
a quilt, hence it's name! :o)
