The first thing that I would
recommend that you do, is go to the Practice
Paper Piecing Page. When you feel comfy with paper
piecing, come on back and try a Maltese Star! You will need to print out
two copies of the template A page, and one copy each of pages
B&C per block you want to make on very
lightweight paper. Fat Quarters should be plenty! |

After piecing all your units, join the three upper left and lower
right corner units, forming two triangles. Sew the center two units
together. Sew the corner triangles to the center strip....and you've
done it!

The quilt, shown here on its side, is four blocks
by five, with alternate blocks using a dark olive in place of the
light olive!
Happy Quilting!
