The first thing that I would
recommend that you do, is go to the Practice
Paper Piecing Page. When you feel comfy with paper
piecing, come on back and try a Lazy Daisy Block! You will need to print out
one copy of each template page per block you want to make on very
lightweight paper. Fat Quarters will be ample! |

|
First, paper piece all your units. Then either use the templates
provided to cut the dark squares and white rectangles you will need,
or measure them and rotary cut, which ever you prefer! Now lay out all
the pieces as shown at left, and assemble by row, using scant
1/4" seams. Press seams in alternating directions by row Sew the
rows together, and there's one Not-So-Lazy-At-All Daisy Block!

The quilt is four blocks by five, in a
rainbow of colors! Each block will need a light and a darker in the
same color family!
