Now sew four Four Patch units, using the half squares we just made, and Color 5 2"squares. At top left you can see how one goes together; the bottom left shows the other three you will need. Make one of each unit shown at left. These should measure 3-1/2"... |

Next sew one of each of the Flying Geese units shown at left, using more colored half square triangles and Color 5 quarter square triangles. One has Color 1 on the left and Color 4 on the right. One has Color 4 on the left and Color 3 on the right. One has Color 3 on the left and Color 2 on the right, and one has Color 2 on the left and Color 1 on the right. These should measure 2" x 3-1/2"... |

Now add a Flying Geese unit to the top of each Four Patch unit. * Note: the Color of the right hand triangle on the Flying Geese unit is the same as the Color in it's four patch! Make one of each unit shown at left... |

Then sew Colored half square triangles to the top and right of eight more Color 5 2" squares, making two of each of the units shown at left... |

|
Sew the last of each of the colored triangles to the ends of each of the four pentagons...on to Page 3! |
