The first thing that I would
recommend that you do, is go to the Practice
Paper Piecing Page. When you feel comfy with paper
piecing, come on back and try an Illinois Blues Block! You will need to print out
two copies of the template A page, and one copy of the template B
page per block you want to make on very
lightweight paper. You will also need one 3-1/2" square of
Yellow One. Fat Quarters will be fine for this! |

For
this one, I've chosen four different blues, ranging from very
dark to medium blue, three yellows that are close in intensity, but
different in pattern, a blue and yellow print on white, and a small
blue print on white...just so you can see which colors are which,
here's a Color Chart! |

Following the numbering chart at far left, paper piece your units,
then join them as shown at near left to complete the block!
