The first thing that I would
recommend that you do, is go to the Practice
Paper Piecing Page. When you feel comfy with paper
piecing, come on back and try an Ice Castle block! You will need to print out one
copy of each template page per block you want to make on very
lightweight paper. A Fat Quarter of each fabric should be
plenty! |

Once all units have been paper pieced, lay them out as
shown at left. Sew two side units to the center unit. Add the top
and bottom rows...and the block is complete! |

Here are three blocks by four with alternating
blocks and pieced borders! This would be very
small! You'll need to make more blocks!
