This makes a 6" block, and is paper pieced! It's a VERY easy one...a very simple tessellating pattern! Please abide by the Terms and Conditions of use! :o) |

| The first thing that I would recommend that you do, is go to the Practice Paper Piecing Page. When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come on back and try Houndstooth! You will need to print out one copy of the 6" template page per block you want to make on very lightweight paper. There is also an optional larger template that will make a 12" block. If you choose that you will need to make three more copies of that larger template! |

After your units are pieced, sew them together as shown at left, using scant 1/4" seams...and then make LOTS more! :o) |

The quilt as shown here is a bit scrappy...good for stash reduction! It could be even MORE scrappy by also using different "background" colors! Have fun...and as Always... Happy Quilting! Marcia :o) |
