| The first thing that I would recommend that you do, is go to the Practice Paper Piecing Page. When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come on back and try a Heavens A' Blaze Block! You will need to print out two copies of the template A page, and one of the B page per block you want to make on very lightweight paper. FQ's will be fine! |

After all units are paper pieced, join the three center strip( template B page) strips to make the center nine patch. Finish the block as shown at left by making three horizontal rows, and joining them. |
