The first thing that I would recommend that you
do, is go to the Practice Paper
Piecing Page. When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come
on back and try a Gretchen Block! You will need to print out four copies
of the template page per block you want to make on very
lightweight paper. Fat Quarters will be plenty! |

Once your units are pieced, sew
together opposite pairs, using a SCANT 1/4" seam. Piece the
block by joining four corner units. All Done!! |

The quilt is four blocks by
five with triple thin border strips to frame it :o) This one would
be striking in ANY two colors!
