The first thing that I would
recommend that you do, is go to the Practice
Paper Piecing Page. When you feel comfy with paper
piecing, come on back and try a Crossed Square! You will need to print out
four copies of the template page per block you want to make on very
lightweight paper. You will also need 4 rectangles 4-1/2" x
2-1/2" (purple dot) and one 2-1/2" square (turquoise) Fat
Quarters should be plenty! |

After your units are paper pieced, sew together the fur corner units.
Lay out all the pieces as shown at left. Sew three horizontal rows,
then join the rows!

The quilt, shown here on its side is four blocks by
five, with a plain border! These are Kaffe Fassett fabrics, available
in Quilt Shops and online!
Happy Quilting Y'all!
