| The first thing that I would recommend that you do, is go to the Practice Paper Piecing Page. When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come on back and try a Crossed Square! You will need to print out four copies of the template page per block you want to make on very lightweight paper. You will also need 4 rectangles 4-1/2" x 2-1/2" (purple dot) and one 2-1/2" square (turquoise) Fat Quarters should be plenty! |

After your units are paper pieced, sew together the fur corner units. Lay out all the pieces as shown at left. Sew three horizontal rows, then join the rows! |
