The first thing that I would
recommend that you do, is go to the Practice
Paper Piecing Page. When you feel comfy with paper
piecing, come on back and try a Criss-Cross Block! You will need to
print out one copy of template pages A & B, and two copies
of template page C per block you want to
make on very lightweight paper. Fat Quarters will be fine ! |

Piece the block, by first joining the three middle square
sections...and then making three rows, alternating pressing directions
by row to keep the seams lying flatter.

The quilt is three blocks by four with star sashings. The border is
straight background strips with flying geese to complete the stars!
Happy Quilting!
