Now sew reverse pairs of quarter square triangles together to make four squares as shown at left, again using SCANT 1/4" seams. Press seams to one side... |

Next, piece the block by first making three rows, pressing the top and bottom rows seam allowances towards the outside, and the middle rows towards the center. Now sew the rows together, pressing the top and bottom seams towards the outside. That's one block! Now make three more!!... |

Then cut thirteen 3-1/2" x 12-1/2" sashing strips from Color 2. Cut ten 3-1/2" squares from the 3-1/2" x 35" strip of Color 1... |

Sew the runner together as shown at left, again using all SCANT 1/4" seams... |

Sew together the top and bottom sashing rows as shown at left... |
|
|
Now sew the two rows you just made to the top and bottom of the runner!...on to Page 3! |
