The first thing that I would
recommend that you do, is go to the Practice
Paper Piecing Page. When you feel comfy with paper
piecing, come on back and try a Christmas Star 2005! You will need to print out
one copy of the A, B and C template pages per block you want to make on very
lightweight paper. There are nine blocks in the quilt. You also need
twenty-four of the tree templates for the quilt... |

Cut the Color 4 1-1/2" x 22"strip into four 1-1/2" x 5-1/2"
strips... |

Cut two Color 4 1-1/2" x 24-1/2"
strips. Cut two Color 4 1-1/2" x 36-1/2" strips... |

Cut two Color 1 1-1/2" x 36-1/2" strips. Cut two Color
1 1-1/2" x 38-1/2"strips...

Next, after paper piecing all units, sew three sections together to
make each quarter of the block. Sew those together to complete the
block. Make a total of nine blocks for your wall quilt or lap throw...
