The first thing that I would
recommend that you do, is go to the Practice
Paper Piecing Page. When you feel comfy with paper
piecing, come on back and try a Boxes & Bows Block! You will need to print out
two copies of the template A, B C, and D pages, and 1 copy of the E
page per block you want to make on very
lightweight paper. FQ's will be fine! |

After all units are paper pieced, sew together the bow
units to make the four corners shown at left. Sew together the quarter
square triangle units to make the side units shown at left. Now lay
all of these out, and sew three horizontal rows. join the rows and you
have finished the Boxes & Bows Block!

Here are four blocks by five, with a plain, and then
a pieced border...quilt shown on its side!
