** Preparing the Pieces and Sewing the Block ** |

First cut one Color 1 2-7/8" x 5-3/4" strip into two 2-7/8" squares... |
|
|
Cut the other Color 1 2-7/8" x 11-1/2" strip into four 2-7/8" squares. Stack these and cut once on the diagonal to make eight half square triangles... |

Next cut the Color 1 1-1/2" x 6" strip into four 1-1/2" squares. Then cut the Color 2 1-1/2" x 10" strip into four 1-1/2" x 2-1/2" rectangles... |

Cut the Color 2 2-1/2" x 20" strip into eight 2-1/2" squares... |
|
|
Then cut the Color 2 5-3/4" x 14-3/8" strip into ten 2-7/8" squares. Stack EIGHT of these and cut them in half once on the diagonal to make sixteen half square triangles... |

Cut the Color 3 2-1/2" x 18" strip into four 2-1/2" x 4-1/2" rectangles...on to Page 2! |
