Here's a re-working of another oldie; I will show the original formation lower on this page...

** Preparing the Pieces and Sewing the Block **

Cut your color 1  2-1/2" x 10" strip into four 2-1/2" squares....

Do the same with your Color 4  2-1/2" x 10" strip...

...and with your Color 6  2-1/2" x 10" strip...

Then cut your Color 1  2-7/8" x 11-1/2" strip into four 2-7/8" squares. Further bisect these on the diagonal...

...and do likewise with your Color 4 2-7/8" x 11-1/2" strip...

Then cut your Color 3  2-7/8" x 23" strip into eight 2-7/8" squares. Bisect on the diagonal...

Cut your Color 5  2-7/8" strip into four 2-7/8" squares. Bisect on the diagonal...

Lastly your Color 2   2-7/8 x 11-1/2" strip into four 2-7/8" squares, and bisect on the diagonal  ...

Sew a Color 1 and Color 3 triangle together, using a scant 1/4" seam and pressing the seam allowances towards the darker fabric. Make eight of this color combination...

      

Then sew a Color 2 and Color 3 triangle together, using a scant 1/4" seam and pressing the seam allowances towards the darker fabric. Make eight of this color combination as well ...on to Page 2!
