Next sew a Color 4 and Color 5 triangle together, using a scant 1/4" seam and pressing the seam allowances towards the darker fabric. Make eight of this color combination also ...

Now, following the block diagram at the left for placement of the squares, piece the Block!! First, make rows, and then sew the rows together to make the block, alternating pressing directions as you add rows...

 

and that's The Gentleman's Fancy!! :o)
