Using the templates provided, cut eight squares from Color 1... |

Then cut four trapezoids from Color 1... |

Cut four squares from Color 2... |
|
|
Then cut eight large triangles from Color 2, and twelve small triangles from Color 2... |

Sew two four patch units from Color 1 and Color 2 squares, using scant 1/4" seams. Press seams to the darker side. Sew large Color 2 triangle to opposing sides of the four patches, then to the two adjacent sides. You will make two units like this, making two Block A's... |

Sew small Color 2 triangles to two adjacent sides of a Color 1 square, again (and always from now on!) using scant 1/4" seams. Make four units like this...on to Page 2! |
