          | | The first thing that I would recommend that you
do, is go to the Practice Paper
Piecing Page.  When you feel comfy with paper piecing, come
on back and try this Christmas Quilt and/or just the Christmas Quilt
Star Block! You will need to print out one copy
of each of the templates  per block you want to make on very
lightweight paper. Use the triangle template to cut our fabric
triangles for the center unit. |

          | |
			 | After you have your units paper
pieced join the center four patches as shown at left, right sides
together, using a SCANT 1/4" seam allowance, and pressing the
            seams to one side... |

          | |
			 | Using the triangle template
provided, cut out four triangles per block you will be making, and
sew them to each side of the center four patches...first to two
opposing sides, pressing seams towards the center square... |

          | |
			 | ...and then to the remaining two
sides, pressing seams towards the outer triangles... |

          | |
			 | Now piece the block, using the
paper pieced units, and the center unit we just completed.
Make sixteen blocks for the quilt... ...on to Page
