Cut the Color 1 2-1/2" x 22-1/2" strip into three 2-1/2" x 7-1/2" strips. Cut the Color 1 2-1/2" x 20" strip into four 2-1/2" x 5" strips. Cut the 2-1/2" x 5" strip into two 2-1/2" squares... |

Cut the Color 2 2-1/2" x 22-1/2" strip into three 2-1/2" x 7-1/2" strips. Cut one of the Color 2 2-1/2" x 10" strip into two 2-1/2" x 5" strips. Cut the other Color 2 2-1/2" x 10" strip into four 2-1/2" squares... |

Sew the longest strips together as shown at left using 1/4" seams. Press seams to darker sides. Cut this apart at 2-1/2" intervals to make three pieced "A" units. These should each measure 2-1/2" x 12-1/2"... |

Now sew the medium strips together as shown at left using 1/4" seams. Press seams to the darker sides. Cut this apart at 2-1/2" intervals to make two pieced "B" units. These should each measure 2-1/2" x 12-1/2"...on to Page 2! |
