			 | To make the rectangle units, place a Color
2  3-1/2" square lined up with one end of a Color 1
rectangle, right sides together.( I show them staggered slightly here
so you can see what two pieces of fabric I am using, but YOUR edges
should be lined up!) On the back of the square draw in the diagonal in
the direction shown at top left. Stitch ON this drawn diagonal. Cut
off the excess seam allowance, pressing the remainder towards the
corner triangle. Make two units like this, and two as shown at bottom
left, with the diagonal being drawn in the opposite direction... |

          | |
			 | Now sew a Color 2  3-1/2" square to
the top of a half square unit, using a 1/4" seam. Press
seam allowance towards Color 2 square.  Being attentive to the
direction of your half squares, sew two of each of the units shown at
          left... |

          | |
			 | Then sew the rectangle and half square units
together to make two each of the units shown at left... |

          | |
			 | Now piece the block. Join the blocks four
corners with the shorter Color 3 strips and the small Color 1 square
to make the body of the block, then sew on the next longest Color 3
strip to the bottom of that. Lastly, add the one remaining Color 3
strip to the block's right side...and you are DONE! Great Job!! ...on
