Pieces and Sewing the Block ** |

Start by cutting the stacked Color 1
6-7/8" squares once on the diagonal... |

|
Then cut the Color 2 3-1/2" x 14"
strip into four 3-1/2" squares... |
|
|
Next cut the Color 3 3-7/8" x 15-1/2" strip into four 3-7/8" squares. Stack these, and cut them once on the
diagonal... |
|
|
Now sew a Color 3 half square triangle to the top of
a Color 2 3 1/2" square, right sides together, using a 1/4" seam.
Sew another Color 3 HST to the right of the square. Make four units like this... |
|
|
Sew each of the previously made units to a Color 1
half square triangle... |
|
|
Join the four quadrants to make the block! Easy
