** Preparing the Pieces and Sewing the Block ** |

Start by stacking and cutting the Colors 1-8 4-7/8" squares once on the diagonal to make half square triangles. You only need one per color to make one block... |

Using the template provided cut two circles from Color 9. Also cut two circles the same size from Light-weight interfacing... |

Sew the Color 9 and lightweight interfacing circles right sides together all the way around the edge in a 1/4" seam. Now cut a slit through the interfacing only large enough to turn the circle right sides out. Press... |

Cut one of the circles into four quarter circles... |

|
Sew pairs of half square triangles together using a 1/4" seam. These should measure 4-1/2". Make a total of four different half squares in this same manner...on to Page 2! |
