Fold the unit over in half, and
inserting the needle at the 1/4" point sew the slant seams to the edge of the
block... |

Now sew the remaining Color 2
trap along its square end, to the square end of unit 3, press seam allowance towards the
Color 5 square... |

|
Fold this back along the Color 5
square seam line, and stitch the Color 2 trap from the 1/4" point to within 1/4"
of the end... |

Then fold over the quad again,
to stitch closed the remaining slant seam...ahhhhhh...don't we LOVE inset seams :o)
Repeat this process with the second quad of this color combination... |

Then make two more following the
same instructions, using Color 1 and Color 4 trapezoids... |

|
Then piece the block, by joining
the four quads. Refer to the diagram at right for placement and orientation of the quads!
