Sew two units as shown at far left for the block's top left and lower
right corners...(these are Color 1 half squares)

Sew two units as shown at far left for the block's top right and lower
left corners...

Using the Color 2 2-7/8" half square triangles, and the
Color 4 3-3/8" squares, make the block's side units. Sew
triangles on opposing corners first, in a scant 1/4" seam, then
sew on the two adjacent triangles...

Sew one unit as shown at far left for the block's
center...(these are Color 3 half squares) |
|
|
Now piece the block! Lay you the units as you see them at left. Sew
three horizontal rows, pressing row seams in alternating directions.
Join the three rows, and it's done! :o)
