Sew shorter trimmed half square units to the left and right sides of the Color 2 4-1/2" square. Add the longer half square strips to the top and bottom to complete the block's center unit... |

Then sew half square units together to make four of the units shown at top left. Add Color 2 2-1/2" squares to the ends of TWO of those half square units... |

Next add the shorter half square strip units made in the step above to the left and right of the center unit. Then to finish up, add the longer half square strip units to the top and bottom! All Done! :o) |
