Next we'll sew together the side units, by sewing a Color 1
and a Color 2 2" x 6-1/2" rectangle together along one
long edge, using a scant 1/4" seam. Press seam to the darker
side. Make four units like this. These should each measure
3-1/2" x 6-1/2"... |

Now lay out all of the block's units as shown at left, with
the Color 2 6-1/2" square as the center unit. Sew three
horizontal rows, and then join the rows to finish up your Johnny
Around the Corner block! |
