Sew together three half squares
and a solid square as shown at top left, using as always a SCANT
1/4" seam, and pressing seams towards the darker fabrics. Make
four units like this. Then sew together three half squares as shown
bottom left, pressing seams towards the darker fabrics. Make four
units like that... |

Sew together four
pairs of Color 1 /Color 2 large half square triangles, again
pressing seams towards the darker side...

Sew a three small half square
unit to the right side of each large half square, pressing seams
towards the larger half square. To the top of each unit just made,
sew a 3 small half square plus solid square unit...

Now piece the units as shown at
left, and that's one block! ...
