Sew each of your
quarter square triangles to a Color 1 half square triangle using a scant 1/4"
seam, and pressing seam allowance towards the half square triangle. You will have four of
these units; sew two together, as shown... |

Then sew the other two
together, and join these to make the center pinwheel motif... |

|
Now sew together two
Color 2 and Color 3 half squares, as shown. Add another, and then
another. Make four of
these units... |

|
Join two of them to the
top and then to the bottom of the center pinwheel, using scant 1/4" seams and
pressing seams towards center... |
|
|
Sew a Color 1 2-1/2" square to either end of the other two half square strips, as shown .Press seam
allowances towards centers... |

|
Add these units to the
sides of the center unit, again using scant 1/4" seams. Press seam allowances to
the outside....and That's it!!
