Sew the shorter of the units made in the step above to
the left and right sides of the Color 2 4-1/2" center
square. Press seams towards the outer units. Add the longer
units from the step above to the top and bottom, again pressing
seams away from the center square... |

To finish up the block, sew Color 1 2-1/2"
x 8-1/2" strips to the top and bottom of the center unit. Add
Color 1 2-1/2" x 12-1/2" strips to the left and
right as the final step! |

Here are four blocks by five, with alternating
blocks done in a reverse color scheme!
