Then put this all together as shown, first by making rows, then by sewing the rows together! Alternate pressing directions by row!!

Nice block and it makes a really pretty quilt!!

 

I think you can get an idea of the quilt from this. The block, or rather four or five of them sewn together end to end, also makes a wonderful table runner.... :o)
