Using the quarter square triangles we cut,
and all scant 1/4" seams, make four pieced triangles as shown
at left in Color 1/Color 2, two in Color 4/Color 2, and two in Color
6/Color 2. Press seams to the darker side... |

Sew each of the Color 4/Color 2 and
Color 6/Color 2 units to a Color 1/Color 2 unit, again pressing
seams to one side, making two quarter squares of each... |

Next, sew a Color 3 flying geese
unit to the right side of a Color 4 quarter square, pressing seam
towards the quarter square. Sew a Color 1 rectangle to the top of
this. Make two units like this... |

Now, sew a Color 5 flying geese
unit to the bottom of a Color 4 quarter square, pressing seam
towards the quarter square. Sew a Color 1 rectangle to the right of
this. Make two units like this... |
