Sew four blade tips to the left side the corner squares, using a scant 1/4" seam press towards blade tips. Make four units like this... |

Now sew the blade triangles to the wider flat edge of the blade pieces, again using a scant 1/4" seam. Press towards blades. Add a blade tip to the right of this, as shown at left, pressing towards blade tip. Make four units like this... |

Sew the first unit we made to the top of each blade unit, pressing seam towards top unit. Make four units like this... |

Now sew two of the completed blade units to opposing sides of the center square, pressing seams towards the blades... |

Sew a side triangle to the right and left of the remaining two blade units, pressing seams towards the side triangles...on to Page 2! |
