Now piece the block! Lay out all your pieced units as shown at left, using the extra Color 1 square as the block's center. Sew these into five horizontal rows, pressing in alternating directions by row. Join the rows...and you are done! |

The quilt is just three blocks by four, with 3" sashing strips and cornerstones between the blocks, surrounded by a narrow border, a pieced Four Patch border, and another narrow border :o) Happy Quilting Folks! Marcia :o) |
