Here's a great easy block
for beginners!
Please abide by the Terms
and Conditions of use! :o)
This makes a 20"
block...though it could very easily be changed to make larger or
smaller blocks! |
** Preparing the Pieces
and Sewing the Block **
Start by marking and cutting the Colors
1,2,3,4,& 5 3" x 36" strips into twelve 3" squares of
each. Mark and cut the Color 5 3" x 12" strip into
four 3" squares...
Assemble the block following the color chart at
left, using all scant 1/4" seams, and pressing the seam
allowances in alternating directions by row.
** NOTE! If you have one certain print you
would like to showcase...you can substitute a 5-1/2" square of it
for the four Color 5 squares in each quadrant of the block!...on to Page
2!
