To make the block's sides...sew the Color 3 rectangles to the sides of the Color 4 3-1/2" squares. Press seams towards rectangles. Make four units like this... |

Now sew together all the units we have made into rows, alternating pressing directions by row. Sew the three rows together, and there you have your Army Star! :o) |
