** Preparing the Pieces and Sewing the Block ** |

Cut the Color 1 2-1/2" x 10" strip into four 2-1/2" squares. Now cut the Color 1 2-7/8" x 5-3/4" strip into two 2-7/8" squares. Stack those and cut them once on the diagonal to make four half square triangles... |

Using the template provided cut four squares from the Color 2 2-1/2" x 10-1/2" strip. Cut the Color 2 5" x 9" rectangle into four 2-1/2" x 4-1/2" rectangles... |

Cut the Color 3 2-1/2" x 10" strip into four 2-1/2" squares. Next cut the Color 3 2-7/8" x 5-3/4" strip into two 2-7/8" squares. Stack those and cut them once on the diagonal to make four half square triangles. Now cut the Color 3 3-1/4" x 6-1/2" strip into two 3-1/4" squares. Stack them and cut them once on each diagonal to make eight quarter square triangles... ...on to Page 2! |
